春のイベントとイースター — Spring Is Here!

As the cherry blossoms bloom across Saga Prefecture, Tosu Chapel is preparing for one of the most joyful seasons in the Christian calendar. We warmly invite everyone — members, friends, neighbours, and newcomers — to join us for our upcoming spring events.

Easter Sunday Worship Service

Easter is the heart of the Christian faith — the celebration of Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead. This year, we will hold a special bilingual Easter Sunday worship service. The service will include music, scripture readings in both Japanese and English, and a message of hope for all who gather.

Good Friday Service

On the Friday before Easter, we will hold a quieter, reflective Good Friday service. This is a time to remember the sacrifice of Jesus — to sit with the weight of His death before we celebrate the joy of His resurrection. The service will be contemplative in nature and suitable for all ages.

Easter Egg Hunt for Children

We will host a fun Easter egg hunt for children following our Easter Sunday service! This is a wonderful opportunity for families to connect and for children to enjoy the festive spirit of the season. Parents are encouraged to bring their children and stay for fellowship afterwards.

Spring Fellowship Lunch

Following the Easter Sunday service, all are invited to a shared fellowship lunch. Bring a dish to share if you are able — or simply come and enjoy the food and company. This is one of our favourite traditions at Tosu Chapel, and it is a beautiful way to celebrate together.
